At the Kind Café our focus is on plants. We are proud to share food that is as close to the earth as possible. Everything we offer can be eaten by those who can't eat gluten. We use local and organic products whenever possible. 

​We are a values driven business and what we care most about is the health of our lives and our planet. Our goal is to empower our customers to eat mindfully - through a food experience that is simple, natural and does not compromise in taste.

Front of House Worker/Barista

Job details:

• Responsible for the customer experience

• Barista

• Smoothie preparation

• Opportunity for recipe contributions to the drink menu

• Open and close the café daily

​

Successful candidate must have:

• Experience working in a café or restaurant

• High level of attention to detail

• Ability to work in a high speed environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

• Strong initiative

• Excellent organization and cleanliness 

​

Position Type: Full-time

​

Wage: $18.00 - $19.00 /hour + tips ($5-6 more per hour) + staff discount on food
